MAPAPA Members Exhibit Your Work!!!

MAPAPA will hold an exhibit to showcase the plein air work of our members at the Columbia Association Art Center, 6100 Foreland Garth, in Columbia Maryland, 21045. The exhibit will run from September 11 through October 11, 2025.

“Summer’s End”, a collection of recent plein air work of MAPAPA members.

Please submit two images for review. Submit your images to LissaAbrams@gmail.com by July 29, 2025.

DO NOT REGISTER FOR THE EXHIBITION ON THIS EVENT POSTING. APPLY AND SEND ENTRIES TO LISSA ABRAMS AT HER EMAIL ADDRESS.

Your will receive notification no later than July 31, 2025. Label your images with your name and the title of the painting. In the email to Lissa Abrams, please include title, size, medium, price, year completed, your address and contact information.

 All paintings accepted must be framed with wire attached for hanging. Paintings may be no larger than 12 x 16 unframed. Based upon space, we may be able to accommodate 2 framed paintings per individual. Paintings must be dropped off at the Center. We cannot accommodate shipping. The Columbia Association Art Center will handle sales and take a 90/10. 90% goes to the artist. To be included in the show, membership dues must be current.

Timeline:

July 14 – July 29, 2025, Send images of 2 plein air paintings.

July 31, 2025, Notification by email of paintings to be included in the show.

September 2-6 ,2025, Drop off paintings at Art Center.

September 8 -10, 2025, Installation of show (Volunteers needed to assist with hanging show).

September 11, 2025, Show Opens.

September 21, 2025, 1-3, Opening Reception.

October 11, 2025, Show Ends.

October 13 – October 15, 2025, Take Down Show and Pick Up Paintings.

Payments to artists will be processed within one month after the last day of the show.
